Mineral Raw Materials & Specifications
Calcite
CarboCore supplies selected calcite as raw material for further processing and industrial manufacturing.
Applications:

Talc
CarboCore supplies talc for use as a functional mineral filler, reinforcing agent, pitch-control agent and processing aid.
Applications:
- Plastics and polymers: reinforcement and stiffness improvement in polypropylene, automotive parts, appliances and technical compounds
- Paints and coatings: anti-corrosive primers, decorative paints, industrial coatings and wood finishes
- Paper manufacturing: pitch control and functional filling
- Ceramics: cordierite, steatite, sanitaryware, wall and floor tiles
- Rubber: dusting agent, processing aid and mechanical reinforcement
- Cosmetics and personal care: high-purity, microbial-tested grades
- Pharmaceuticals: functional excipient in solid dosage forms
- Roofing: bituminous membranes and weathering compounds
Available grades: Uncoated, fine and micro-talc grades with defined whiteness, lamellarity and particle-size distributions are available according to customer specifications.
Gypsum
CarboCore supplies gypsum for construction, cement-manufacturing, agricultural and industrial applications.
Applications:
- Cement manufacturing: setting-time retarder in Portland cement production
- Plaster and plasterboard: wallboard, building plaster, stucco and casting plasters
- Agriculture and soil conditioning: calcium and sulfate source, soil-structure improvement and sodic-soil remediation
- Water and soil treatment: sedimentation and flocculation aid
- Industrial filler: selected chemical, paper and polymer applications
Available grades: Crushed lump, coarse and finely ground gypsum grades are available with defined purity and moisture levels.
Hydrated Lime — Calcium Hydroxide, Ca(OH)²
CarboCore supplies high-calcium Hydrated Lime for water-treatment, flue-gas desulfurization, construction and industrial-chemical applications.
Applications:
- Potable water treatment: pH adjustment, softening, coagulation and remineralisation
- Wastewater and industrial effluent treatment: neutralisation, heavy-metal precipitation and sludge conditioning
- Flue-gas treatment: acid-gas removal (SO², HCl, HF) in power plants, waste incinerators and industrial boilers
- Soil stabilisation: improving load-bearing capacity and reducing plasticity in road and infrastructure projects
- Mortar, render and plaster formulations: building construction, restoration and masonry products
- Asphalt paving: anti-stripping agent in hot-mix asphalt
- Chemical manufacturing: intermediate in the synthesis of calcium compounds and organic chemicals
- Agriculture and aquaculture: soil pH correction, sanitisation and pond-water treatment
Available grades: High-surface-area and standard industrial grades available with guaranteed available lime (Ca(OH)²) content and particle size.
Quicklime — Calcium Oxide, CaO
CarboCore supplies Quicklime for metallurgical, environmental, construction and chemical-processing applications.
